Heritage Alive! Craft Class - Fiber Rush Weave - at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, Tuesday, June 17, 5p-8p
Rushes were an abundant natural resource for early settlers in this region. Chairs with rush seats were commonly found on the front porches of Florida Cracker cabins. Learn to weave in this hands-on class and create a rush footstool. Make your reservation early and paint or stain your unfinished stool before class.
The cost is $55 or, $50 for members (Includes materials). Space is limited.
