Host 3rd Annual Community Health & Fitness Fair
(Niceville, FL) – Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and Twin Cities Hospital will host the 3rd Annual Community Health & Fitness Fair Wednesday, May 28th, at Santa Rosa Mall in Mary Esther. This health fair will provide educational materials and basic health information to individuals living in our community. Free and open to the public, the event will take place between 8:30 am and Noon, with a complimentary continental breakfast. Over 30 vendor booths will provide educational materials and basic health service information to all attendees. Additionally, health care professionals will be on hand offering free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index and blood glucose.
Held annually on the last Wednesday in May, this health fair was initially established in honor of National Senior Health & Fitness Day. Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and Twin Cities Hospital are committed to promoting health and fitness to individuals of all ages; as we celebrate the 21st anniversary of Senior Health & Fitness Day, we invite the community to join us as we continue our commitment to make Okaloosa County a healthier place to live and work. Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is a 257-bed hospital with a medical staff of over 200 physicians.
